This seasonal opportunity is perfect for someone who wants to work outside and get hands-on experience in water delivery and diversion on the Stillwater-Five Pine Mesa Ditch in South Routt County! This position will assist with managing, calculating, and delivering water orders to numerous lateral diversions along the ditch and complete daily water accounting reports. The ideal candidate will have experience with irrigated agriculture, understand or is willing to learn the basics of water rights administration, the ability to work independently in remote outdoor environments, and accomplish a variety of field tasks while demonstrating excellent communication skills and reliability. Basic computer skills are necessary for the documentation of water administration.
